Bean and Goose was founded by sisters Karen and Natalie Keane, who share a belief that
chocolate should be experienced as a ritual not just consumed as a product.
The sisters craft flavour-led chocolate inspired by seasonality, collaboration and a deep respect
for ingredients. Each creation blends ethically sourced chocolate with carefully selected
flavours, from bright citrus notes to warming spices, designed to elevate everyday moments into
something special.
Central to their work is the belief that chocolate is not just something to eat, but something to
experience.
At the festival, Karen and Natalie will present an interactive stage talk and tasting centred on
drinking chocolate in its many forms. Audiences will explore hot, cold and seasonal serves of
Bean and Goose drinking chocolate, discovering how small shifts in preparation, temperature
and flavour additions, from warming spices to salt or even spirits, can dramatically change
aroma, depth and mouthfeel.
Alongside core flavours, they will share limited-edition and seasonal creations, offering insight
into how these are developed in small batches and why creative freedom is central to their work.
Relaxed yet engaging, the session invites guests to slow down, taste attentively and reconsider
chocolate as a daily ritual, one rooted in craft, storytelling and connection.
