ANNA ANSARI is an Iranian-American food writer whose work explores the intersections of food, migration, and memory. Raised in Detroit and now based in London, her Jane Grigson Trust-shortlisted debut cookbook, Silk Roads: A Flavour Odyssey with Recipes from Baku to Beijing, was published in October 2025 (DK Red). Anna's writing has appeared in Pit Magazine, Eaten Magazine, and Olive Magazine, and her warm, witty storytelling has earned praise from Meera Sodha, who calls her “one of the best writers I know.” Follow her at @thisplacetastesdelicious.
