We are delighted to welcome Freddie back to Ballymaloe House for this very special, pop-up dinner on Friday 17th of May. Starting at 7pm in Ballymaloe House, Freddy will join the team and bring a taste of littlefrench to Ballymaloe House Hotel for a night.

Freddy Bird is Chef Patron of Bristol’s critically acclaimed restaurants littlefrench and 1 York Place.

Bristol born Freddy first trained at Ballymaloe before embarking on his culinary career in London; first working at 2 Michelin star restaurant The Square with Philip Howard and then at Moro with Sam & Sam Clark.

In 2008 he returned to the South West as Executive Chef of the Lido Bristol.

In 2019 Freddy and his wife Nessa opened littlefrench and shortly followed with their café bakery Littleshop & Pantry in 2020.

Together they are the team behind the brands Menendez & Bird Olive Oil, Birdhouse Gin,  Buxton & Bird Pies and littlefrench Events.

Their latest venture 1 York Place opened in December 2023.

Tickets available as an Add On when purchasing your entry ticket to the Festival, €100.00 per person. Please note wine tastings are not included in this price.
