Mark Anderson , a Culinary Director and the author of Gather & Gather

Mark Anderson has 25 years experience in the culinary profession. After training as a chef at Dublin Institute of Technology, he  worked in Ireland and internationally across all sectors of the hospitality industry, from high end and casual restaurants, to hotels, event catering, retail sector, and workplace catering. He joined Gather & Gather, one of the U.K.’s leading workplace catering companies,  in 2015 as their first Culinary Director in Ireland. In that role he has pushed the boundaries of workplace catering for clients in a multitude of sectors, delivering an offering based on an exceptionally high level of quality, centred on local and seasonal ingredients, with health and taste to the fore.

In recent years, alongside his leadership role at Gather & Gather Ireland, Mark has been a founding member of the National Advisory Council of Chef Network where he has been instrumental in building a chef community and promoting positive kitchen culture. He is also a Food on the Edge ambassador and partner.
