David Llewelyn considers himself to be a ‘fruit alchemist’ who transforms the apples, pears, cherries and grapes that he grows at his vineyard and orchard in Lusk, Co Dublin into wine, cider, perry, juices, and vinegars. The small batches of his LUSCA wines are one of the very few commercially grown Irish wines and are prized by connoisseurs.
