Yana is a visual artist and craft practitioner working across contemporary wall art, sculptural forms, jewellery and select furniture pieces using wood mosaics and straw marquetry. Her work explores the interplay of light, colour and grain, underpinned by a strong commitment to craftsmanship.

Two key themes inform her artistic practice: an exploration of the inner architectures of human consciousness—labyrinths of memory, emotion, ego, and time—and a form of eco-cubism, in which natural forms are deconstructed and reimagined through geometry and fragmentation. By translating plant structures, decaying leaves and timber microstructures into mosaic and marquetry, Yana seeks to preserve fleeting natural phenomena while reflecting on impermanence, transformation and ecological connection.
