Saegul is an old Irish word, now known as saol, meaning both lifetime and world (it does sound a bit birdy too, which we like!). Each Saegul candle begins with a story and memories of somewhere - a windswept cliff, a quiet harbour, a forgotten lane, a summer evening, a place you've loved or a place you're yet to discover.

Behind Saegul are Lorcan and Nia, who design and make the candles themselves in Co. Dublin, using the finest ingredients: 100% soy wax, premium fragrance and essential oils, and recyclable tins.
But that isn't really what Saegul is about.

Saegul is about curiosity.
