Originally trained in sculpture at the Limerick School of Art and Design, Marianne later studied at the prestigious School of Jewellery and Goldsmithing in Kilkenny. This sculptural foundation is central to her process; every design begins as a miniature sculpture, conceived to be worn, lived with, and loved. Influenced by the raw textures and strong lines of Brutalist architecture, as well as the purity and balance of Bauhaus design, her work blends architectural clarity with organic, tactile detail.

Marianne enjoys exploring the tension between rough and refined, incorporating gemstones and pearls to bring softness and luminosity to her contemporary forms. A structural detail in the framework of a building, can spark an entire collection of ideas, each evolving into a piece of jewellery that carries both story and presence.
