MAMO

MAMO is a family-run skincare and home fragrance studio in Wicklow, founded by a mother, daughter and son. We make cold-process soaps, natural skincare, candles, wax melts and dog care by hand in small batches, using traditional methods and carefully chosen ingredients.

Four generations of women in our family have passed down a love of herbs, homemade remedies and soapmaking. Geri still keeps a bar of soap her grandmother made over forty years ago. Today, she continues that tradition alongside her mother, foraging along the Wicklow coast and mountains for herbs such as yarrow, nettle, horsetail and St. John’s wort, or growing them in the family garden to create botanical infusions.

Every formula is developed by Darina, a food engineer and cosmetic formulator, using nourishing plant oils and butters, flower waters, botanical extracts, essential oils and mineral-rich clays. We never use palm oil, artificial colours, parabens or phthalates.
