Lisa O’Grady is a contemporary Irish artist whose work explores the emotional and atmospheric qualities of landscape.

Working primarily within an abstract and semi-abstract visual language, Lisa is drawn to the sea, sky, horizon and changing light of the Irish landscape. Her paintings seek to capture not simply how a place looks, but how it feels — the quietness of a shoreline, the weight of an approaching sky, or the fleeting atmosphere of a remembered place.
