Emilija Mezele is an Irish artist currently based in Tipperary. Her artistic practice centres on painting as a way of preserving the quiet everyday moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

She combines nature and urban scenes to create a new meaning, repositioning ordinary experiences to be viewed in a different way, encouraging viewers to slow down and think more. She primarily uses water colour and oil paint, for its versatility and ability to create depth and texture
