We are Sadhbh and Aisling Wood, sisters from Dun Laoghaire. In 2020, our father began using spent coffee grounds in the shower to ease his psoriasis — relief that steroid creams had not given him. That discovery, perfected at our own kitchen table, became Bean Around.

Today we collect spent grounds from local coffee shops and coffee roasters. We then hand-craft them into richly textured exfoliating skincare, closing the loop on a waste stream that would otherwise go to landfill. Every product is made and packaged in Ireland, in recyclable, minimal packaging, maintaining sustainability throughout.
