H E A L I N G W A T E R S D A Y R E T R E A T with SHAMA & OKSANA

In the indigenous cultures all around the world it is believed that every time we acknowledge the spirits or life force of the water be that through song, prayers or blessings the healing powers of the water are activated and the water becomes medicine.

All water is connected and all life is connected to water. It doesn't matter if it is the water in your teacup, in your body, in the sky, in the lakes, rivers or oceans. They are all one.

"Water is a teacher, a healer, a mirror."

This gathering is an answering to the call of the spirits of the Water. We will work with this sacred element to find our inner flow, to soften into the path of less resistance allowing the dissolving of all that is creating unbalance and dis ease, tapping and enhancing our very own source energy.

What Is Inner Source Activation?

ISA is a transformative energy healing process that facilitates the dissolving/purification of the body's energy system where old memories, energy blockages and traumas are stored while restoring the body's natural flow of energy. It is a life force energy intensification and activation.

This activation leads to the expansion and realignment of your energetic system, often resulting in positive shifts in perception, personal growth, and spiritual development.

During these sessions, you'll find yourself in a comfortable, laying down position, guided by curated music and intuitive touches, woven together with healing sounds and ancient languages.

All that's asked of you is to relax and surrender to the innate wisdom within you, letting your body freely express itself. Be it through movement, emotional releases, laughter, tears, or serene stillness—every facet of your being is welcomed with open arms.

What is Somatic Movement :

Our soma is our deep inner felt sense of life in our body. It is the bridge to our authentic feelings, responses and intelligence. Somatic movent journey is a powerful exploration of this embodied intelligence through the creation of sacred space, and guided soma and heart informed movement. This practice is designed to drop you out of your head and into the connection with your body ,the experience of deeper aspect of self and your inner wisdom .

“Thank you to Shama & Oksana for a beautiful weekend. As facilitators they carried that sense of sisterhood, care, and intention throughout every session. They created a supportive environment whether in or outside of sessions for growth and connection. I loved the mix of Inner Source Activations, somatic journeying, and amulet making. I’m still feeling the impact of the gorgeous healing from that weekend and would definitely go to another retreat.”

Morning Practice

Dearbhla will lead a warming Vinyasa flow practice in the mornings. Practicing several sun salutations with a different variations. The overall practice is slow, moving  mindfully with the breath. Holding some poses a little longer to develop strength and generate warmth in the body. We will flow through different transitions improving overall body awareness and opening the joints, while also strengthening and lengthening the muscles. The practice is slow, warming and requires some physical stamina yet it has a lovely meditative and mindful quality to it.  Dearbhla will offer modifications for any of the more challenging poses and rest is always an option! Creating an overall feeling of stillness and calm.

The second-morning practice

This is a lovely practice which focuses on breathing, stretching and relaxing before lunch.

The Evening practices are Yin and restorative

Slow down, unwind and restore your energy with a ninety minute Yin Yoga and restorative practice, aiming to calm the mind, stretch and relax the body. This two-hour practice will create space and stillness in both the mind and body. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones and even the joints, and releases tension and stress in the body.

The focus is simply about letting go of stress and tension, releasing into a deep yin practice followed by a long restorative practice using bolsters and blankets so people can relax, unwind and recharge. Dearbhla will use relaxing essential oils during the restorative practice for an even more relaxing experience.
