At the May Fair we pride ourselves on having some of the very best food and drink vendors coming from around the country. Join us for some delicious food, cooking demos, wine tasting and music. The Festival Bar will be open with delicious cocktails, local beers and lively chat! We also have an incredible mix of musicians coming to fill the festival with good tunes and vibes! Relax and have a bite to eat with friends all the while enjoying local musicians and the buzz of early summer all around you.

The Roaring Forties

Jazz Festival favourite's, the swing cats of Ireland are coming to the Ballymaloe May Fair! Number eight in the Album charts with their last album, cornerstone of many festivals over Europe, best band awards over a 15 year career from many companies and magazines in many countries, the Roaring Forties are a premier band without a doubt... Get your dancing shoes and be ready for some exceptionally good, fun swing music!

Claire Murphy

We are delighted that Claire Murphy will be on the Main Stage Friday night! Claire is known by locals of East Cork for playing superb music in the Ballycotton Blackbird, and creating unforgettable nights.

A beautiful voice, fun tunes and great acoustic create a lively atmosphere. Get ready to sing along and have a bop!

Tony Milner

Tony Milner has been entertaining audiences for the last 40 years with his unique interpretations of classic songs in an acoustic style. A warm, round guitar sound coupled with smooth vocals, Tony is always as crowd pleaser and great entertainer on any occasion. Get ready for some fantastic classic songs!

Sean Kelleher

The wonderful Seanie K will be coming with tunes to get you swaying at the May Fair. A lovely distinct voice accompanied by wonderful acoustic guitar, Sean Kelleher is well known throughout Cork for his wonderful soulful performances.

Basil Breen

Basil Breen is a singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. After beginning his musical journey in his mid-twenties, Basil has now emerged onto the Irish music scene with potent songs of love, heartbreak, and optimism.

Equipped with a commanding and powerful singing voice, he has been likened to artists such as Simply Red & PHD.We are delighted Basil is joining us on the May Fair stage at 12.30 on Saturday showcasing music from his upcoming Album.

Johnny Powell

Johnny has been on the music scene in Cork for many years. His mix of covers everyone knows and loves is sure to get you  singing along, maybe even on your feet and dancing!
