One of Ireland's most popular singer/songwriters, Paddy Casey has been on the forefront of the Irish music scene since topping the charts with smash hits, Saints & Sinners and The Lucky One, and now his new single, Everything Must Change.
Paddy is facing a busy year following the 2017 release of Everything Must Change. The success of the new release caught the attention of many promoters abroad, resulting in invitations to play London’s Emerald Sounds Festival and in the popular Nell’s Jazz & Blues venue run by well-known Irish promoter, Vince Power.
Back home on Irish shores the Dublin musician has played sold-out gigs in the prestigious Whelan’s Live bar and headlined the Temple Bar Tradfest together with fellow Irish singer/songwriter, Mundy. He has headlined Irish festivals, played a week-long residency in the Olympia Theatre, performed his own headline concert in the RDS. Paddy has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with U2 on their Vertigo Tour and was invited to perform on the famed American TV talk show, The Late Show with David Letterman.
By pure coincidence, a portrait of Paddy by Cork artist John Adams will be hanging in Ballymaloe Grainstore during Paddy’s concert.
Early dinner is served in Ballymaloe House at 6pm for €50 per person. Please ring 021 465 2531 to book. For lighter fare, a selection of soup, sandwiches, tortillas, homemade Ballymaloe ice cream and more is served upstairs in the Grainstore from 7pm.
