1:00pm

Nico is our guest chef for Saturday lunch in our Woodshed Kitchen. Come and join us  as Nico brings a taste the Caribbean to our farm shed.

This is farm shed dining. Nothing fancy just great food and drinks, music and fun. There might even be dancing.

Born in Dublin with Jamaican heritage, Nico lived in South America for 6 years (mostly Argentina and Uruguay). Nico has collaborated with Chefs from all over the world using South American flavours, Irish/Caribbean cooking with Latin American Flavours - cooking when possible over fire.

Nico is the chef at Lil Portie, a wandering restaurant focused on zesty and spiced West Indian cooking with flavours from Latin America with familiar tones of Ireland. Lil Portie draws influence from Ireland, the Caribbean, Argentina, Mexico Peru.

With a limited selection of Caribbean food in Ireland , Lil Portie brought a pop up concept inspired by Jamaican Heritage with sprinkles of Latin American influences which was totally unique to the Irish Food scene.

Lil Portie was Featured on Season 4 Ep 6 of  Vice: F*ck that's delicious with Action Bronson, "Irish Tacos and Jerk Lamb"
